Gary_cook_albert_the_pug
Taken at Wycoller Country Park in Lancashire, United Kingdom, this is a photo of Albert the pug.

Albert, of course, is the subject and inspiration of the Albert the Pug books

The image was previously used on the cover of a calendar printed in Japan.

Here's a page - and the opening rhyme - from Albert the Pug and the Thief Dog from the Kindle version.

This is what you'll see using the Kindle app on Android or your PC - or Kindle Fire. Standard Kindle's just won't be so colourful.

Albert the Pug in full colour

After a long time spent walking pugs and bringing up my son, the adventures of Albert the Pug are about to begin again.

But this time, they are to be published as illustrated books.

These stories about Albert are written in rhyme, to allow young children everywhere the chance to enjoy the exciting life of Albert.

The Albert the Pug books have been written for children and dog lovers everywhere.

The first book, Albert the Pug and the Thief Dog, will be released in November 2011. You will be able to buy it from Amazon and, with a bit of luck, digitally for the iPad, Kindle and eReader.
